The power couple adopted an entire village in Soweto, South Africa, where they pledged to build homes, schools and provide jobs for the men in the village. In the below video, Swizz talks about how they came to the decision to adopt this village.

Apparently, the couple traveled to Soweto to film a mother, living with AIDS, and her daughter. The film shows the difference in the woman’s health and life with her daughter before and after she begins to take the medication that Keys’ charity “Keep A Child Alive” provides to people living with the disease in Africa and India.
