Aretha Franklin has been vocal about who she wants to play her in her biopic but things might not go in Ms. Franklin’s favor.

Speaking With E! News on the Golden Globes red carpet, Berry dismissed rumors, citing her inability to sing as too big of an obstacle in undertaking the role.

“If I could carry a tune, I’d consider it,” she says. “Someone should tell Aretha that I can’t do her justice.”

There were also rumors going around saying that Halle would be playing Oprah in a biopic about her life but Halle put those rumors to rest on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” saying she wouldn’t be playing Oprah either.
