VH1 has a new show titled Love & Hip Hop which highlights women who are involved with hip hip stars or trying to become hip hop stars themselves. Fabolous wifey Emily Bustamente, Jim Jones’ girl Chrissy Lampkin, Olivia (former 1st lady of G-Unit), Somaya Reece (upcoming rap artist) and last but not least Mashonda (who we all know by now is Swizz Beatz ex-wife/baby mama) are the women we will be following to get a glimpse into what hip-hop life is like through a female’s perspective.
According to VH1, “Love & Hip-Hop” will be an eight-part, “docu-soap” that gives viewers an inside look at the New York rap scene. VH1’s new, eight-part docu-soap series Love & Hip Hop follows five dynamic women who are connected to the world of hip hop, whether it’s through the men they love, or their struggle to be heard as an artist. Love & Hip Hop provides a dramatic, funny and sometimes heartbreaking look into the female side of the New York hip hop life as these five women try to claim their own place in it.”
