Yesterday, Juelz Santana was arrested in connection with the police raid on his studio earlier in the month. An associate of Juelz named Toby “Hynief” Raynor was arrested during the raid after a ten month undercover investigationon.
After the raid Juelz called up a radio station to speak on the raid saying, “They [police] are always picking on me. By the graces of God everything should be ok. I wasn’t really caught with anything in my possession. They say they found some things in the studio which I have no idea about. We’ll see how everything pans out.”
Well apparently the police had been looking for Juelz when his studio was raided. Police believe Juelz is a member of the Bloods street gang, which according to a recent report on gang activity in New Jersey, is the biggest street gang in the state.
Juelz was arrested on a number of charges including: possession of a firearm and a controlled dangerous substance namely marijuana, a 2nd degree crime, possession of a handgun without having a permit, a 2nd degree crime, possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance namely marijuana, 3rd degree crime, and possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.
“Santana was out of town at the time of Raynor’s arrest,” added Lynn Hobson, Juelz’ publicist. “We are just looking forward to having this whole situation cleared up.”
Juelz is currently still being held the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack on $125,000 bail.
