Two of the three robbers who murdered a 60-year-old beauty supply store owner are facing spending the rest of their natural born lives behind bars. Tanaka Jayvon Wells, 19, and Ronnie Lamont Mathews, 18, were charged for the March 15th murder of Jay Shin.

They both face three counts each of armed robbery and one count each of felony murder. Wells was also charged with one count of felony firearm.

Police said the suspects stole 80 packs of “Velvet Remi” hair extensions during the robbery. The packs were worth about $120-$135 each or about $10,000 in total.

Authorities are still looking for a third suspect — a woman who police say may have been involved in the robbery. Anyone with information should call Dearborn Police at (313) 943-2235.
