(NFL)-Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall is in an intensive care unit Saturday after reportedly being stabbed with a knife by his wife. Marshall’s wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was arrested on one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon at 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Department.
A team source told Jay Glazer of NFL Network and FOX Sports that doctors have informed the Dolphins that Marshall isn’t in imminent danger at this point. A source close to the situation told ESPN that Marshall is “going to be OK.”
Jacksonville wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker, a close friend and college teammate at the University of Central Florida, tweeted Saturday morning that Marshall “will be ok and is in good spirits.”
Let’s keep Brandon in our prayers for a speedy recovery and his wife too.
