Newcomer Big Sean was arrested Thursday night in upstate New York after police received a complaint from a woman that she was sexually assaulted during a concert he was performing in with Wiz Khalifa.

According to MTV, 23 year-old Big Sean (born Sean Anderson) was charged with misdemeanor counts of forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment and sex abuse. An associate of Sean named Willie Hansbro was arrested and charged with the same.

“Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations,” Sean’s lawyer, Scott E. Lemon, said in a press release issued to MTV News. “I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated.”

They both were released on $500 bail and are scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 6th.
