Police have named a suspect in the murder of Brick Squad rapper Slim Dunkin. Police have identified another rapper who goes by the name Young Vito (born Vinson Hardimon) as the triggerman. Law enforcement are urging Young Vito to turn himself in to police because they believe he’s in danger.

“We are urging Mr. Hardimon to turn himself in to authorities because we have reason to believe he may be in danger,” Atlanta police said in a release.– [AA]

Slim Dunkin (born Mario Hamilton), was shot and killed last Friday following an altercation in an Atlanta recording studio that reportedly began after Dunkin snatched a piece of candy from Young Vito’s hand.

Slim Dunkin’s funeral will be held today (Dec. 23rd) a 11 a.m. at Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, GA.
