UPDATE: MSNBC is reporting Slim was fatally shot in the chest after getting into an argument with another individual.

Investigators are  interviewing people who were inside the studio during the shooting. There were about 20 people inside the studio when the shooting occurred around 5:30 p.m. Police have not identified the shooter nor recovered the weapon.

According to reports, rising rapper Slim Dunken has been shot and killed. Waka Flocka’s close friend was shot Friday (Dec. 16th) in a recording studio in Atlanta.

AllHipHop.com reports that Slim may have been shot in the face numerous times but details are still very sketchy. Slim was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Brick Squad members have been tweeting their condolences to Slim including Wooh da Kind tweeting, “pray for my nigga Dunk,” then a hour later, “RIP TO MY NIGGA DUNK”

It’s said he underwent surgery after the shooting. Our prayers go out to his family and to all who loved him.
