A North Carolina man walked into a Wal-mart in Lexington, NC and tried to pay for his items with a $1million dollar bill!
53-year-old Michael Anthony Fuller went to Wal-Mart to pick up a vacuum cleaner, a microwave oven and other merchandise, totaling $476. He got to the register to pay and pulled out a FAKE million dollar bill. He tried to tell the cashier it was real but he/she didn’t fall for it and called police.
Fuller was charged with two felonies: attempting to obtain property by false pretense and uttering a forged instrument.
There’s no such thing as a million dollar bill. The largest bill in circulation is a $100 bill. Back in 1969, the government discontinued the use of $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000 bills because of lack of public use.
Not sure why this man thought he was going to get away with this when there’s no such thing as a million dollar bill.
