A judge has ordered the release of the 911 phone call recordings from the day Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew were killed.
According to Chicago’s WGTN:
This courtroom sketch shows Julia Hudson testifying during the first day of William Balfour's murder trial at the Cook County Criminal Court in Chicago, Monday, April 23, 2012. A motion was filed by the Chicago Tribune and other media outlets for the release of the 911 tapes from that day in October of 2008.
The calls requested were the 911 recordings that have already been played before the 18 jurors in the murder trial of William Balfour. The release includes the recording of the 911 call Julia Hudson made after discovering her mother’s body. Jennifer Hudson’s sister had just returned from work to find a bullet hole in the front door and her mother on the floor, lifeless and bloody. She ran out of the house and called 911, not realizing her brother, Jason Hudson, also was dead inside the house or that her 7-year-old son, Julian, was missing.
Take a listen to the 911 call below:
During the call you can hear Julia say, ”Somebody killed my mother,” she cries into the phone.
Those dispatchers were not even sympathetic to the fact she just walked in on her mother shot to death! Did you hear the way they were talking to her? Made me hot.
Keep your head up Jen.
