Nicki Minaj’s dad is speaking out against his daughter after she said in a recent interview that she wanted “to kill him.” Nicki went on “Nightline” on Monday (April 10th) and talked to Juju Chang about her abusive childhood.

Nicki said her father was a alcoholic, a drug user and very abusive to her mother.

“I wanted to kill [my dad]. I used to wish he was dead … ‘We were afraid for my mother’s life because whenever he would have a real bad outburst he would threaten to kill her.”

Family members tell TMZ that Nicki is exaggerating! Nicki’s father, Omar, admits he had anger issues back when she was a child but he insists it was never as bad as Nicki described in the interview.

Sources tell us, Omar never knew Nicki felt this way about him — and he’s absolutely crushed she decided to air her grievances in the media.

Nicki M. deleted her Twitter account yesterday (April 15th) bailing on over 11 million followers after she got upset with a fan site, Nicki Daily, for leaking some tracks off of her new album before it’s release.

She blocked the fan site and then her Barbz turned on her and began tweeting “mean” things to her.

Nicki tweeted:

Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good fucking bye.

And then it was gone. The fan site has been shut down as well with the word CLOSED on the main page and Nicki’s ”Dear Old Nicki” loops. Daaaamn
