Hip Hop producer Scott Storch has been hit with a lawsuit by an up-and-coming artist by the name of Treena Ruberg.
Treena claims she paid Storch upfront to produce her album but he was too strung out on drugs to get it done.
Treena claims she and Storch had an agreement that he would produce 6 songs in exchange for $45,000 back in October 2011. She fronted $30k before anything was produced.
According to TMZ, Storch acknowledged his previous drug problem but insisted he was now “cured of his past problem” and would be able to deliver the tracks by the end of November.
Treena claims that was all LIES, claiming he “continued to have a drug addiction and other personal problems which rendered him incapable of producing any recordings.”
So of course, Treena wants her money back PLUS an additional $70,000 for all the out-of-pocket expense she incurred dealing with him.
No word from Storch’s camp.
