Former Bad Boy rapper G-Dep had our mouthes wide open when we got word that he had turned himself into police and confessed to a 1993 murder back in December 2010.
According to reports, G-Dep (whose real name is Trevell Coleman) went to the 35th precinct on Dec. 15th and confessed to murdering a man named John Henkel outside of James Weldon Johnson projects in Harlem. G-Dep committed this crime 17 years ago at the age of 18.
Law enforcement released the video footage of G-Dep’s confession of shooting a man but not the man he’s on trial for. G-Dep began trial this week for the murder in which he has plead not guilty.
