The “Underdog” is on top. Congratulations goes out to Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, for being crowned winner of “Dancing With the Stars 2012.”

Season 14 of ‘DWTS’ had its fair share of drama, complete with highs and lows but ultimately it was the “swagger-ready sports hero” who survived through it all and it couldn’t have happened to a more worthy competitor.
Donald fought against rampant underscoring, some weeks in jeopardy of being eliminated and steadily made his way up the ranks. He, along with his partner Peta Murgatroyd, scooped the mirror-ball trophy on the season finale. Upon hearing his name as the winner, he simply said “Amazing. This is awesome. Thank you so much!” He is a champion on the field as well as the dance floor.
