Earlier today Rick Ross held a press conference to announce the release date of his fifth album God Forgives, I Don’t, the release date of MMG’s second compilation album, Self Made, Vol. 2, AND revealed Omarion will be the newest artist added to the MMG roster.
Rozay wasn’t the only one with ‘new artist’ new. Birdman signed DJ Khaled’s We The Best imprint to the YMCMB camp.

Rick Ross and the MMG family gathered for a press conference this afternoon (May 2nd) to announce the signing of R&B crooner Omarion and release dates for projects from MMG artists’. Head honchos Diddy, Swizz Beatz, and Lyor Cohen were there for support.
“Today I become a made man. Omarion aka Maybach O.,” said Omarion speaking about him signing to MMG. His first single is titled “Let’s Talk” which will feature Rozay and samples Notorious B.I.G. and Salt-n-Pepa.
In an interview with MTV News’ Sway Calloway, Birdman further elaborated on the signing, adding, “ I always wanted to have a chance to work with Ace Hood…We wanted to do it right, set it up right. I think Ace Hood is a superstar. I love his worth ethic, I think he’s a very talented young man and he gonna be a big superstar in this business and I wanted to be the one to help him become that. It was important to me.”
Birdman as yet to say what he has in store for the rest of DJ Khaled’s We The Best label, which also includes Cubic Z, Red Rum (VA!!!), Nino Brown, and producers, The Renegades, The Nasty Beatmakers, and Lee Major of The Inkredibles.
Guess we will have to just wait and see.
