We told you about the “incident” that went down between Ray J and Whitney Houston’s family on yesterday. It seems Ray may have taken it a little hard and is now in a hospital bed! Ray J has been admitted to the hospital for what seems to be a combination of exhaustion and dehydration.
Sources tell TMZ Ray was extremely upset after his confrontation with Pat Houston and family, minutes before Whitney Houston’s tribute at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. On Monday morning, Ray J was found in his hotel room and seemed to be “out of it” to the point where he couldn’t get out of his bed.

Sources say Ray J was extremely disoriented and was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Ray J’s publicist originally released a statement saying, “He’s been working too hard. He did a concert in China and is working on a new business over there.”
As Ray J was released from the hospital, his publicist sent out a new statement with some disturbing news about the singer.
“Ray J has been released from the hospital in Las Vegas and is back home in Los Angeles following an extensive battery of tests to make sure that he did not have a blood clot in his lungs which is potentially a deadly condition that can occur following a long haul plane flight”
If you don’t remember, it is the same condition that eventually took the life of hip-hop legend Heavy D last year. Ray J had arrived in Vegas on Sunday following a 32 hour round trip from China and a four hour drive to Las Vegas.
We are glad to hear Ray J is back home and wish him the best in his recovery!
