The 6-year-old beef we thought was squashed seems to have been thrown back on the grill.
Pusha T released his new single “Exodus 23:1,” on yesterday (May 23rd) from Cannes, France. (He was at the premiere of Kanye West’s new short film “Cruel Summer”). Pusha seems to be throwing subliminals at Drake and the YMCMB camp.
Pusha raps:
“Beef is best served like steak, well done get a gun to your face/Beef will have you praying to god, move your kids have you hiding your mom”
“Contract all fucked up, I guess that means you’re all fucked up/You signed to one n***a, that signed to another n****a, that signed to three n****’s now that’s bad luck”
Lil Wayne obviously felt some type of way because he took to his Twitter this morning and tweeted, “Fuk pusha t and anybody that love em”
Take a listen to Pusha’s new track below:
Lil Wayne and The Clipse’s beef started after Wayne did an interview in 2006 taking shots at Jay-Z,Pharrell and The Clipse. Wayne said, “I don’t see no f—ing Clipse. This is a f—ing legend you’re talking to right here,” he said. “How many years them n—as been around?”
Of course The Clipse responded accusing Wayne of wanting to “rap like Jay-Z, dress like the Clipse, and become a coke dealer after 5 albums”
Then in 2011, Pusha said the beef was squashed and he had no ill-feelings towards Weezy. Not sure what happened since then.
