The beef is over, 50 Cent and Oprah Winfrey hug it out.
50 cent may seem like a tough guy but talking to Oprah, revealed a softer side.
After spending the last six years having several disagreements, the two recently linked up in an intimate interview, to discuss what lead up to the separation.
This past Sunday night on Oprah’s Next Chapter, Oprah confronted the rapper as they discussed a range of topics including their feud, his success and the use of the N word, while conducting the interview at his grandparents’ house in Queen’s, NY, where he was raised after his mother’s death nearly 30 years ago.
Check out the interview after the cut:
50 criticized Oprah Winfrey in a very public way but has since changed his tune as he and O. have decided to let “bygones be bygones.”
The 36-year-old rapper told Oprah: “This is a huge milestone for me. Just being in your presence and on the show. That’s a huge accomplishment.”
Among Queen O’s complaints was the rapper’s criticism that she was creating television for “white women as old as his grandmother” and that he named his female dog after her, in which she didn’t think was a compliment.
Fif got teary-eyed when discussing his grandparents and the close relationship he shares with his grandmother, who he loves and respects very much. It is revealed that the hardcore rapper is not allowed to curse around her, he paints his grandmother’s toenails and rubs her feet.
Finally, when discussing the N word and its usage, they agreed to just disagree.
