Many will agree that reality television is taking over the airwaves but for one man, his appearance on a reality TV show may have cost him his life!
Literally.
Keep reading for details…
45 year-old Brice Parker was shot several times around 1:15 a.m. in his home in New Orleans, LA, 2 hours after Spike TV’s “Undercover Stings” aired its latest episode [previously recorded] on Monday night. He died 30 minutes later.
In the “Gun Runner” episode, from a January 2012 bust, the cops raided the house for drugs. Brice is having open dialogue with the cops because he doesn’t want to go back to jail and figures he can work a deal out by giving them the names to his suppliers and where they hid drugs, which subsequently lead to an arrest of drug dealers.
Investigators will not say if the murder of Brice Parker is connected to him snitching on national TV, but friends and neighbors believed that it was more than a coincidence. As one witness put it, “Everybody was watching it.” Friends encouraged Parker to leave after Monday’s showing but he just didn’t have time.
Police are still looking for suspects and witnesses.
“Undercover Sting” airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. EST on Spike TV. The episode in question will air again Monday night (June 25th) at 9:30 p.m. EST, following the new episode.
So sad.
