Fayette County deputies arrested the 50-year-old pastor at his home on Sandy Creek Road, early Friday morning and charged him with simple battery and cruelty to children.
According to the police report, the preacher’s 19 year-old daughter, Alexandria, said Dollar “put both hands around her sister’s neck and choked her for about five seconds.” Alexandria ran to get her mother, Taffi, whose arrival in the kitchen ended the fight.
Dollar’s 15-year-old daughter told police that her father attacked her after they argued about whether the daughter could attend a party.
It is “alleged” that Rev. Dollar Bill “intentionally caused physical harm to his teenage daughter by grabbing her around the neck and choking her.”
It is also “alleged” that after he choked her, he threw her to the ground, punched her and hit her with his shoe repeatedly. The warrant states the incident caused a scratch on the right side of the girl’s throat.
Choking Rev? Which one of the disciples did that?
Rev is claiming that he used excessive force to restrain his daughter when she became “very disrespectful”, after he told her she couldn’t go to the party.
Dollar posted a $5,000 bond on Friday morning.
