He has only been in jail for about 11 days and the lawyers for Floyd Mayweather Jr are already claiming that his career could come to an end if he stays in jail any longer. Can we say…a bit dramatic?
They say the undefeated champion is getting out of shape in solitary confinement and may never fight again if he’s not released from the cramped Las Vegas jail cell where he began serving a three-month sentence earlier this month (June 1st).

An emergency motion was filed on Monday, asking the court to move him into the general jail population or put him under house arrest for the rest of his sentence.
They claim that the jail’s conduct may cause financial and emotional harm if he is no longer able to pursue his boxing career because of the lack of conditioning he has suffered.
It is said that his doctor has concern for the boxer because he has lost muscle tone, appeared dehydrated {he doesn’t drink tap water} and he isn’t consuming the amount of calories per day that he was use to before his jail stint.
A hearing will be held on Floyd’s request on Thursday.
