According to the Orlando Sentinel, Naomie Breton was doused with gasoline and set on fire by her ex-boyfriend and father of her 4-year-old son, Roosevelt Mondesir, at a 7-Eleven in Boynton Beach, Florida.

And it was caught on camera!

The couple agreed to meet outside of a 7-Eleven at 3am to exchange custody of their 4-year-old son (why at 3 in the morning tho?). As Naomie was pumping gas into her car when her ex pulled up WITHOUT their son

He then charged her with a machete and a can of gas. Naomie ran into the 7-Eleven for safety, but he caught up with her, pulled her out of the store and lit her on FIRE!

“Get away from me!” Breton yells as she tries to lock her attacker outside the store. Moments later, he drags her outside. She reappears on camera engulfed in flames, shrieking hysterically as she tears off her shirt. A frantic store clerk calls 911 and the attacker ran off, police said.

Police dogs and helicopters found him two hours later, crouched behind bushes near the 7-Eleven. The incident ended with Breton at the hospital and Mondesir, 52, behind bars on a charge of attempted murder.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies broke into Mondesir’s nearby home on Mackinac Road near Lantana, where they found the pair’s 4-year-old son sleeping, unharmed and alone, said Boynton Beach Police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater.

The saddest part of this story is that Naomie tried to get a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend on May 29th, but was turned down due to lack of evidence. SMH

Naomie suffered burns to her body and face, but is expected to recover, according to doctors at Delray Medical Center.
