Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar took to the pulpit Sunday to deny punching and choking his daughter, telling the congregation the allegations made in a police report are nothing but “exaggeration and sensationalism”

“I will say this emphatically: I should have never been arrested,” Rev Dollar said Sunday in his first public appearance two days after police charged him with misdemeanor counts of simple battery and cruelty to children.
It should come as no surprise that the pastor received an ovation from the packed church as he took the pulpit, similar to the enthusiastic ovation Pastor Eddie Long received from his congregation, after the allegations about him fondling young boys was made public.
Dollar addressed the criminal charges head-on for several minutes before his sermon at the World Changers Church International in College Park, Ga.
“I want you all to hear personally from me that all is well in the Dollar household,” Dollar said.
Dollar was arrested Friday for choking, punching and beating his 15-year-old daughter with a shoe, after he and his daughter were arguing as to whether she could attend a party.
Dollar insists that he did no wrong, even claiming the “mark” found on his daughter has been there for 10 years.
In any case, it is a rare occasion that any person admits guilt in public. Its taught, that you are to deny it until the end.
What else was he suppose to say to the people who have been arguing his case all weekend, that he was wrong and its between he and God? Instead of being held accountable for his part, the congregation accepts whatever he says. Foolish people. Since he claims no wrong doing, is he basically saying that his daughter likes to exaggerate the truth?
We are not the judge on this case, but we do know that somebody is lying and needs to repent!
