Imagine watching the interview of the man, who senselessly murdered your child, apologize to you, yet having no remorse, no regrets and then saying that he wouldn’t do anything differently because it was all in God’s plan!

It couldn’t possibly be the same God who commanded that We Should Not Kill so perhaps it was Zimmerman’s own “god?”

Trayvon Martin’s parents, like many of us, watched the interview on Fox News with Sean Hannity on Wednesday night (July 18th) in disbelief that he could be so fatuous in making asinine statements on national television.

Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton rejected the shooter’s claim that the death was apart of God’s plan. “We must worship a different God,” Tracy told the Associated Press. “There is no way that my God wanted George Zimmerman to murder my teenage son.”

Ms. Fulton spoke Thursday morning, implying that the notion was simply “ridiculous.”

In response to Zimmerman’s request to having a sit down meeting with the Martin family to explain what happened that night, Sybrina said that she was “absolutely not willing to meet with her son’s killer.”

She said: “I have a hard time accepting his apology because he also said that he doesn’t regret anything that he did that night, and I don’t think God would have him in his plan to murder an innocent child.”

We are certain that Zimmerman is consistently digging a hole for himself, but we remain hopeful that the truth will come out. We commend Mr. Martin and Ms. Fulton for remaining courageous in the face of adversity.
