Ms. Melodie, born Ramona Scott, better known as the femcee who was once married to legendary front man of Boogie Down Productions (BDP) KRS-One has died.
Ms. Melodie released her first single in 1988 called “Hype According to Ms. Melodie” and album “Diva” in 1989. “Live on Stage” was one of her biggest hits but her memorable verse in the East Coast Rap All-Stars classic “Self Destruction”, where she held her on with some of hip-hops hottest male artist at the time, is how she will be remembered.
Cause of death is currently unknown. A native of Brooklyn, Ms. Melodies is survived by two sons. Rest In Peace!
