He was arrested and charged with domestic abuse, he was cut from the Miami Dolphins which was aired on cable television–then went viral, his reality show, “Ev & Ocho,” was cancelled by VH1, some alleged mistress has come out saying she was having an affair with him, Evelyn filed for divorce, and he recently lost an endorsement deal with coconut water brand Zico.

Now sources tell RadarOnline he’s doing all he can to win Evelyn back.

“He is desperate to win Evelyn back, so he feels he has at least one person on his team, but she is resolute that is NOT going to happen,” a source tells RadarOnline.com.

“Evelyn will not tolerate being cheated on and being physically attacked and she has washed her hands of Chad for good. She was desperately in love with him and ignored a lot of warning signs along the way, but now that she has finally woken up, she will not be taking any steps back and will not go back to him.

“Despite Chad’s pleas for a second chance and his assurances that he will undergo counseling, Ev is sticking to her guns. It is over between her and Chad. For good. Period.”

Last week, a friend of the couple revealed that Chad has been abusive towards Evelyn since the two got together.

“Chad has been abusive towards Evelyn basically from the beginning of their relationship. Chad doesn’t like Evelyn’s party lifestyle and it made his anger worsen. He hated the way she acted on TV and would often lash out at her for any little thing.”
