Oprah’s long awaited interview with Rihanna has finally aired and it was well worth the wait. Last night, Rihanna was featured on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” series where she totally opened up about her real feelings for Chris Brown since the infamous beating that happened three years ago. Rihanna also discusses fame, being a role model and took Oprah on a tour of her home.

Taking Oprah back to Barbados, Rihanna showed a very vulnerable side that included speaking openly about that fateful night, the scrutiny that followed, rumors, and where her relationship stands with him now.

She admitted that despite its violent ending, she still loves her ex and feels like even though the ordeal was embarrassing and humiliating, the greatest pain is knowing she had lost her best friend.

She conceded that since the restraining order was dropped against Chris, they have been working on their friendship, seeing each other as recently as last month in St Tropez.

She also confirmed that the two are still “very close friends” and despite suffering visible scars that left her battered and bruised on a lonely road, she “still loves him” and the two have been working on rebuilding their friendship since last year.

However she insist they are not together and are not pursuing anything romantic. She is still single, while Chris is in a long-term relationship with model Karrueche Tran. (What has she modeled though?)

We’re sure there will be major fallback behind her rekindling a relationship with an abusive man and lacking the skills to be a role model but at least she is honest within herself.
